ANIMAL HEALTH ALERT: Canine Influenza H3N2 diagnosed in local dog in the San Gabriel Valley
Animal Control

Animal Control agencies are charged with a number of tasks for their community.  This includes returning lost pets to their owners, securing deceased animals, helping sick and injured animals, educating the public on wildlife, and even dealing with situations such as dog bites and noise complaints.  As a result of this heavy work load for very few personnel, Animal Control Officers call on veterinarians to help locate the owners of lost animals and provide health care when necessary to sick and injured animals.  Animal Emergency Referral Center works closely with Animal Control Agencies from the cities of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, El Segundo, and Hawthorne.  These agencies are a fundamental aspect of keeping a city’s animals safe and in harmony with modern society.  AEMC is proud to serve this cause.
